The Stallion Club had been ruled out almost immediately because the twenty-one year old had no desire to be dealing with those people while he was chilling with his brother. And to be quite honest, there were a lot better places one could go to get some decent food and booze than a strip joint. Caleb had considered restaurants and other bars that they could have gone to before eventually settling on Street Lights as their choice of venue for the night. Of course it seemed to be a bit more upscale, but the food was good and he figured his twin might enjoy a chance of scenery.
With that in mind and his brother in his car, Caleb sped off downtown, making light conversation with Dalton as they went along. It was just one of those times where he was happy to be with his brother as it gave him a chance to see what was going on in his life, which Caleb rather enjoyed, despite them not getting to see each other as often now that they were a little older. It also served as a bit of an escape from the real world because when it came down to it, it was just a chance for the boys to have fun without any of the consequences that usually came along with it.
Now there was no doubt in Caleb’s mind that his twin was going to get completely wasted, but he wouldn’t expect anything less from the party boy. In fact, it was probably one of those rare occasions where the young man had fully intended on indulging his sibling. He hadn’t told Dalton yet, but Caleb had decided it was all going to be on him tonight – he figured it was okay to splurge a little and spoil his brother even if it was for a teeny bit.
“Here we are,” Caleb spoke at last, putting the car in to park as they had reached their destination. The faintest smile sat on his lips as he glanced over his brother, "You ready for some fun?”
“Besides bro, this night is for you. Why not do something tried and true that’ll get your mind off of things? ” There was only so much that Caleb could do for his brother and if he had to fall back on to methods that had worked in the past, so be it. The young man only wanted to have a bit of fun and give his twin something else to do than lament over his poor life choices. Then again Caleb was pretty sure he would be acting the same way as his brother had he been put in to such a ridiculous situation. It was wrong to have been backed up in to a corner and feel as if there was no way out – no one needed to be in that bad of a spot.
With any luck, this would be just what his brother needed to get back on to his feet after suffering what Caleb liked to classify as a traumatic experience. He weaved through the mess of tables, looking for something a bit closer to the front and sitting himself down once he had come across an empty one. The blonde waited for his brother to sit, his smile widening ever so slightly. “Since we’re here, tonight is one of those nights where it’s on me – so enjoy yourself, Dalt. ”
